The Real Estate and Infrastructure Investors’ Summit – 2015, is being organized by NAREDCO and APREA, in association with VC Circle on 5th and 6th October at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The aim of this summit is to get the stakeholders of the real estate and infrastructure industry together to have a meaningful and focussed dialogue on finding solutions and also showcase the growth of the Indian Real Estate and Infrastructure Sector to the investors.

The Union government of India has actively propagated its vision of “Housing for All by 2022” and “100 Smart Cities”, which is likely to provide a big boost to the housing sector and push further urbanization; thus enabling the use of technology, newer construction techniques, and infrastructure development. NAREDCO is fully supportive of the Government’s vision, and is dedicated to help the government achieve this target.

As per the KPMG report released with NAREDCO, by 2022 there would be a total requirement of 9 crore affordable houses, including the current shortage of 4 crore houses, in both urban and rural India. It is also estimated that to achieve the vision of “Housing for all by 2022” an investment of nearly USD 2 trillion would be required over the next seven years. In view of the government agenda, NAREDCO had organized a National Convention in New Delhi where Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker Smt. Sumitra Mahajan and 5 Union Ministers including Shri. Venkaiah Naidu, Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Shri. Nitin Gadkari, Shri. Narendra Singh Tomar and Shri. Jual Oram had addressed the convention and appreciated NAREDCO’s endeavor in this regard
